Use as an app
You can add AWS First Steps to your device's home screen and launch it full screen, just like an app. The next time an unfamiliar AWS service or term comes up, it is only one tap away.
You are already using this site as an app. No further steps are needed.
Android phones and desktop (Chrome / Edge)
Press the button below to open the installation dialog.
If the button does not appear, you can install manually:
- Open the browser menu (the three dots in the top corner)
- Choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"
- Press "Install" in the confirmation dialog
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (top right on iPad)
- Choose "Add to Home Screen" from the menu
- Tap "Add" in the top right corner
Update notifications
We send a single daily notification summarizing the major AWS updates. You can choose the frequency (daily or every Monday) and the delivery time below. Nothing is sent on days without new announcements.
On iPhone / iPad, notifications can only be subscribed from the app added to your home screen (iOS 16.4 or later).
