AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
About this course
SAA-C03 is an associate-level certification that tests whether you can combine AWS services to fit requirements and choose architectures that are secure, resilient to failures, and balanced in performance and cost. You study the four domains in order and practice choosing architectures from scenarios with the practice questions.

Study
- 1Design Secure ArchitecturesLearn designs that protect AWS resources and data with IAM, network isolation, perimeter protection, and encryption
- 2Design Resilient ArchitecturesLearn designs that rarely go down, using loose coupling, Multi-AZ and multi-Region architectures, and disaster recovery strategies
- 3Design High-Performing ArchitecturesLearn how to choose storage, compute, databases, and networking to fit the workload
- 4Design Cost-Optimized ArchitecturesLearn purchasing options, storage classes, rightsizing, and cost management tools
Study tips
- The domain with the highest weight is Design Secure Architectures (30%), which centers on IAM roles and policies, encryption, and network isolation
- Mark the condition words in the question, such as "lowest operational overhead" and "most cost-effective", and eliminate the choices that do not meet the conditions first
- Be able to state the difference between similar services (SQS, SNS, and Kinesis; EFS and FSx; Multi-AZ and read replicas) in one sentence about when each is used
