Amazon CloudWatch Logs Insights adds 25 new commands and functions, enabling statistical aggregation, null value handling in time-series data, log comparison across time windows, outlier detection, and event enrichment with lookup data.

Amazon CloudWatch Logs Insights query language now supports 25 new commands and functions, expanding the ability to query, transform, correlate, and analyze logs. These additions include type conversion and encoding functions, date and time functions, string functions, JSON inspection functions, a conditional validation function, statistical commands, row-sequencing and null-handling commands, sessionization and time-comparison commands, a data analysis command, query-composition and join commands, and a lookup enrichment command. These commands and functions are available today in all commercial AWS Regions.
