Amazon Cognito now supports self-service provisioned API rate limits

Amazon Cognito now allows users to instantly adjust their rate limits up or down to the account-level maximum using the console or new API operations, eliminating the need for manual service quota requests.

Amazon Cognito now supports self-service provisioned API rate limits, allowing users to increase or decrease their provisioned API rate limits on demand. Previously, adjusting Cognito API rate limits required a manual review through Service Quotas, necessitating advance planning for traffic spikes. Now, users can set their desired Cognito rate limit up to the account-level max limit using the Amazon Cognito console or the new limit provisioning API operations, with changes taking effect immediately. Self-service provisioned limits are available for adjustable API categories in all AWS Regions where Amazon Cognito is available. For pricing details, see the Amazon Cognito pricing page.
