Amazon EC2 High Memory U7i instances are now available in new regions, offering 16TiB and 24TiB of DDR5 memory and high-throughput processing capabilities

Amazon EC2 High Memory U7i instances, u7in-16tb (224xlarge) in South America (Sao Paulo) region and u7in-24tb (224xlarge) in Europe (Ireland) region, are now available. U7i instances feature fourth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and provide 16 TiB or 24 TiB of DDR5 memory, enabling customers to scale transaction processing throughput in fast-growing data environments. Both instances deliver 896 vCPUs, support up to 100 Gbps Amazon EBS bandwidth for faster data loading and backups, 200 Gbps network bandwidth, and ENA Express. They are ideal for mission-critical in-memory databases such as SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server.
