Amazon EVS is now available in additional Regions
Amazon EVS expands to Seoul, Zurich, and Stockholm Regions, offering lower latency and compliance benefits for VMware workloads on AWS.
Amazon Elastic VMware Service (Amazon EVS) is now available in the Asia Pacific (Seoul), Europe (Zurich), and Europe (Stockholm) Regions. This expansion allows VMware workloads to benefit from lower latency closer to end users, compliance with data residency requirements, and additional high availability options. Amazon EVS enables running VMware Cloud Foundation directly within a VPC on EC2 bare-metal instances powered by AWS Nitro, allowing a complete VCF environment to be set up in just a few hours. It supports VCF 9.0 and 9.1, providing access to the latest VMware features such as memory tiering.
