Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB now supports M9g database instances

Amazon RDS now generally available for Graviton5-based M9g instances, offering up to 30% performance improvement and 23% price/performance improvement over Graviton4-based instances

AWS Graviton5-based M9g database instances are now generally available for Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB. These instances deliver up to 30% performance improvement and up to 23% price/performance improvement for on-demand pricing over Graviton4-based instances of equivalent sizes, depending on database engine, version, and workload. M9g DB instances are available in new 24xlarge and 48xlarge sizes, offering up to 192 vCPU, up to 100Gbps enhanced networking bandwidth, and up to 72Gbps of bandwidth to Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS). These instances are now available in the US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Frankfurt) Regions.
