AWS Glue adds one-click access to SageMaker Unified Studio from the AWS console

AWS Glue now offers direct access to SageMaker Unified Studio, enabling data engineers and analysts to efficiently move from the Glue console to data querying, quality checks, and pipeline building with a single click

AWS Glue now provides direct access to Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio, helping data engineers and analysts move from viewing the catalog in the Glue console to querying their data, running data quality checks, and building data pipelines in SageMaker Unified Studio with a single click. This integration allows users to work with catalog data or query using SageMaker Notebooks with the same IAM role. For those who haven't set up SageMaker Unified Studio yet, a new inline permissions panel helps create and configure required IAM policies directly within the setup workflow, eliminating the need to navigate to the IAM console and switch browser tabs. Users can utilize their existing IAM role and customize permissions in-context, reducing steps to get started.
