AWS Marketplace adds AI Insights for buyers to understand pricing before purchase

AWS Marketplace now offers AI Insights, helping buyers understand product pricing before purchase by explaining cost structures in plain language, including how usage scales and multiple pricing dimensions combine.

AWS Marketplace now provides AI Insights, allowing buyers to understand how a product's pricing works before purchase. Available in the pricing section of each listing, AI Insights explains pricing in plain language: what a pricing unit maps to, how billing changes as usage scales, how multiple pricing dimensions combine into one cost, and what is and isn't included. Previously, answering these questions required visiting multiple websites and piecing together details. Now, the context is on the listing itself, enabling buyers to evaluate pricing and proceed to purchase without switching tabs. AI Insights cites sources, drawing from the pricing the seller publishes on the Marketplace listing and additional pricing context on the seller's public website. It is live today on most listings where external pricing context is available, in all commercial AWS Regions where AWS Marketplace operates. Sellers can review and request edits to their listing's AI Insights content at any time via the Contact Us form linked on the AI Insights page in the AWS Marketplace Seller Guide.
