AWS Secrets Manager now supports automatic rotation of Cisco Security Platform API keys and Netskope API tokens as managed external secrets. This allows users to rotate these third-party credentials directly from the AWS console without writing custom rotation code. For Cisco Security Platform, Secrets Manager rotates the API key's refresh token on a schedule, capturing new tokens issued by Cisco. For Netskope, it rotates RBACv3 service-account REST API tokens via Netskope's SCIM API and validates the new token before completion. Both integrations are self-authenticating, requiring no separate administrator credentials. These additions join existing support for other external services such as BigID, Confluent Cloud, and Salesforce.
