Cost Efficiency widget now available in Billing and Cost Management Dashboards

AWS adds a Cost Efficiency widget to BCM Dashboards, showing efficiency scores over time, account/region breakdowns, and integrating with budgets and commitments for unified monitoring

AWS Billing and Cost Management (BCM) now supports a Cost Efficiency widget in BCM Dashboards. This allows users to view cost efficiency trends alongside Cost Explorer, Budgets, and reports for Savings Plans and Reserved Instance coverage and utilization. The widget displays efficiency scores over time, enabling analysis by AWS account, region, or overall scope. Users can add multiple widgets to monitor optimization performance directly from existing workflows, with direct links to the Cost Optimization Hub console for actionable recommendations. The widget integrates with dashboard exports, supporting scheduled email reports and CSV/PDF downloads, and is included in cross-account dashboard sharing. Available at no additional charge in all commercial AWS Regions.
