Amazon Kinesis Data Streams announces data delivery to general purpose Amazon S3 buckets

Amazon Kinesis Data Streams now delivers streaming data directly to S3, eliminating the need for complex pipelines or custom applications

Amazon Kinesis Data Streams now sends streaming data straight to general-purpose Amazon S3 buckets. This removes the need to chain multiple serverless services or build custom consumer applications, cutting operational overhead and costs. The S3 general-purpose delivery uses usage-based pricing for On Demand Advantage and On Demand Standard modes, charging only for successfully delivered data. It is available in all regions where Kinesis Data Streams is offered.
