Amazon Redshift Serverless now offers All Upfront pricing for 3-year Serverless Reservations
Amazon Redshift Serverless introduces an all-upfront payment option for 3-year Serverless Reservations, offering up to 50% savings over on-demand rates
Amazon Redshift Serverless now offers an all-upfront payment option for 3-year Serverless Reservations, providing up to 50% savings compared to on-demand rates. With this option, customers pay the full reservation term upfront and receive the maximum discount on their Amazon Redshift Serverless compute costs. This new payment option joins existing options including 1-year No Upfront, 1-year All Upfront, and 3-year No Upfront, offering greater flexibility to optimize costs based on financial preferences. Serverless Reservations are managed at the AWS payer account level and can be shared across multiple AWS accounts, reducing compute costs across all Amazon Redshift Serverless workloads in an organization. Usage exceeding the reserved RPU level is charged at standard on-demand rates. This pricing option is available in all AWS commercial and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions where Amazon Redshift Serverless is offered. Customers can purchase Serverless Reservations via the Amazon Redshift console or by invoking the Serverless Reservations API.
