Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio adds custom visual transforms
Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio now allows data engineers to create, share, and reuse custom visual transforms in visual ETL flows, enabling teams to apply business-specific logic without coding expertise.
With Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio, data engineers can now create, share, and reuse custom visual transforms within visual ETL flows. This capability allows teams to build reusable, business-specific transformation logic without requiring coding expertise. Users can develop their own transforms and publish them to a shared library, making them accessible to other team members directly from the visual ETL interface. For example, transforms can standardize customer phone numbers, mask personally identifiable information, or apply organizational data-quality checks. Team members can reuse the same logic across multiple ETL jobs, reducing duplication and ensuring consistent results. This feature is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio is offered.
