AWS IAM Identity Center Achieves FedRAMP Class C Certification

AWS IAM Identity Center is now in scope for FedRAMP Class C in the US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (N. California), and US West (Oregon) Regions, enabling workforce access to FedRAMP Class C compliant AWS accounts and applications.

AWS IAM Identity Center is now in scope for FedRAMP Class C in the US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (N. California), and US West (Oregon) Regions. This allows you to use IAM Identity Center to enable workforce access to AWS accounts and applications that are subject to FedRAMP Class C compliance. The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a US government-wide program that delivers a standard approach to the security assessment, certification, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. AWS IAM Identity Center is the recommended service for managing workforce access to AWS accounts and applications.
