AWS Secrets Manager adds managed external secrets support for Paddle and GitLab

AWS Secrets Manager now supports automatic rotation of Paddle API keys and GitLab access tokens, enabling seamless transitions with configurable grace periods for Paddle and atomic rotation for GitLab

AWS Secrets Manager has extended its managed external secrets capability to include Paddle API Keys and GitLab Access Tokens. For Paddle, rotation uses its native API with a configurable grace period, allowing applications to transition seamlessly to new keys without interruption. GitLab supports rotation of three token types-Personal, Group, and Project Access Tokens-using its atomic rotation mechanism. These additions join existing integrations with BigID, Confluent Cloud, Datadog, MongoDB Atlas, Salesforce, and Snowflake, enabling management of third-party software-vended secrets. The new integrations are available in all AWS Regions where AWS Secrets Manager managed external secrets are supported.
