AWS WAF adds support for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway

AWS WAF now protects agentic AI workloads on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway with IP controls, rate limiting, and managed rules

AWS announces general availability of AWS WAF protection for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway, enabling protection of agentic AI workloads from common web exploits and abuse. Users can associate an AWS WAF protection pack with their AgentCore Gateway to enforce IP-based access controls, rate-based rules, and AWS Managed Rule Groups. The protection pack is configured once at the Gateway level and applied consistently to all targets behind that Gateway. This feature is available in all AWS Regions where both AWS WAF and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway are offered.
