Amazon Connect Customer now supports versioning and aliasing for flows
Amazon Connect Customer adds versioning and aliasing for flows and flow modules, allowing resources to be pointed at aliases instead of specific versions for simplified deployment
Amazon Connect Customer now supports flow and flow module versioning and alias features, simplifying the building, testing, and deployment of customer experience flows while minimizing impact on live end-customers. Versioning creates immutable versions of flows with attachable friendly names (aliases). Resources like queues, quick connects, and phone numbers point to aliases instead of specific versions. New versions can be rolled out in a single update without republisher or relinking resources. For example, publish an updated customer experience flow as a new version and validate it in a test environment while live traffic remains on the current version, then repoint the production alias to move all phone numbers to the new version in one update. This feature is available in all AWS regions where Amazon Connect Customer is offered. For more information, see the Amazon Connect Customer website.
