Region expansion

Amazon EC2 C8gn instances now available in AWS Europe (Paris) region

Amazon EC2 launches C8gn instances with the latest Graviton4 processors in the Europe (Paris) region, offering up to 30% better compute performance and high-bandwidth networking

Amazon EC2 has begun offering C8gn instances in the Europe (Paris) region, powered by the latest-generation AWS Graviton4 processors. These instances deliver up to 30% better compute performance compared to Graviton3-based C7gn instances and feature the latest 6th generation AWS Nitro Cards, providing up to 600 Gbps of network bandwidth-the highest among network-optimized EC2 instances. C8gn instances support instance sizes up to 48xlarge, with up to 384 GiB of memory and up to 120 Gbps of bandwidth to Amazon EBS. They also support Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) networking on 16xlarge, 24xlarge, 48xlarge, metal-24xl, and metal-48xl sizes, enabling lower latency and improved cluster performance for tightly coupled workloads.
