AWS has expanded Amazon WorkSpaces Applications to three new Regions: Europe (Zurich), Asia Pacific (Osaka), and Canada West (Calgary). This expansion allows customers in these areas to deploy applications and desktops in closer proximity, enhancing performance. The service is a fully managed, secure application streaming solution that provides instant access to desktop applications from any device, eliminating the need for local software downloads or management. It automatically scales resources and delivers on-demand user access. Users can start using the service by selecting their preferred Region in the WorkSpaces Applications management console. Pricing is pay-as-you-go.
