AWS Agent Registry is now generally available, providing a private, governed catalog for discovering agents, tools, skills, MCP servers, and custom resources within an organization. Teams gain full visibility into their AI landscape, enabling them to discover existing capabilities instead of rebuilding from scratch. Accessible through the AWS console, CLI, or SDK, it integrates with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Kiro IDE for resource discovery without switching contexts. The console features semantic and keyword search alongside dedicated browsing. New enterprise features include provisioning and managing registries as code using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK, applying tags for organization and access control, and sharing registries across accounts with AWS Resource Access Manager. It auto-detects agents on AgentCore runtimes and gateways organization-wide, and integrates with Amazon Quick for discovering custom connectors directly in the Quick Connectors page. The service is available in five AWS Regions.
