AWS Clean Rooms adds minimum aggregation thresholds to custom analysis rules, helping protect individual privacy by ensuring query results meet specific count requirements.

AWS Clean Rooms now includes support for minimum aggregation thresholds within custom analysis rules. This feature helps safeguard individual privacy by preventing queries from returning results about single users or small groups. Data providers can apply these thresholds to custom SQL queries, ensuring each output row represents at least a specified number of distinct values, such as user IDs. Previously, enforcing such thresholds required pre-approved templates and manual code reviews; now providers can configure them directly through custom analysis rules without structured queries or approvals. Additionally, providers can define which columns can be filtered or joined across datasets.
