AWS Deadline Cloud Now Supports EBS Persistent Volume Cost Tracking

AWS Deadline Cloud now shows costs for Amazon EBS persistent volumes in the Usage Explorer within the Deadline Cloud Monitor app. Previously, only compute and license costs were visible. This update allows tracking of each EBS volume's cost from creation to deletion, independent of jobs or sessions. Costs appear as a new usage type in the Usage Explorer and statistics APIs, attributed to the owning fleet, enabling aggregated spending by fleet, farm, or time period. This helps identify idle volumes and decide whether to adjust time-to-live settings or let them expire. Cost tracking is automatically enabled with no additional charges and is available in all regions where Deadline Cloud is offered.
