AWS Cost Anomaly Detection now supports third-party models on Amazon Bedrock

AWS Cost Anomaly Detection adds automatic monitoring for third-party foundation models running on Amazon Bedrock, such as Anthropic Claude, with no setup required

AWS Cost Anomaly Detection now monitors spending on third-party foundation models executed on Amazon Bedrock, including Anthropic Claude and other provider-hosted models. This enhancement enables teams running production generative AI workloads to receive automatic anomaly detection for their Amazon Bedrock model spend alongside other AWS costs. The service automatically evaluates these costs through AWS managed service monitoring with no setup needed. When unexpected spend changes occur, users receive alerts with a root-cause breakdown ranked by dollar impact across AWS services, accounts, regions, and usage types. This feature is available in all AWS commercial regions except AWS GovCloud and China regions.
