AWS Deadline Cloud adds job bundle sharing, enabling teams to distribute and reuse render job templates without manual file distribution

AWS Deadline Cloud now supports sharing job bundles, allowing teams to distribute and reuse rendering job templates without manual file distribution. Job bundles include job templates, parameters, and asset references. Previously requiring shared drives or manual copying, users can now publish bundles to a queue via the submitter or command line, making them immediately available to all queue users. Shared bundles are packaged as portable archives and stored in Amazon S3's existing job attachment bucket for the queue, requiring no additional infrastructure or configuration. This feature is available in all AWS regions where Deadline Cloud is offered.

Why it matters

This update benefits teams running compute-intensive workloads for visual effects, animation, product design, simulation, and gaming. Sharing job bundles allows pipeline teams to publish standard job templates that artists can easily access and use.
