AgentCore payments now generally available in Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

AgentCore payments enables AI agents to autonomously discover, access, and pay for paid APIs, MCPs, and content with minimal code, providing security and observability for enterprises

AWS announces the general availability of AgentCore payments within Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, allowing AI agents to autonomously discover, access, and pay for paid APIs, MCPs, and content using just a few lines of code. The feature integrates with Coinbase and Stripe Privy wallets for microtransactions, offers payment orchestration across protocols, enforces configurable payment limits at the infrastructure layer, and provides end-to-end observability via AgentCore Observability. At general availability, it includes Quick Create for Coinbase credential provisioning in the AgentCore console, a curated Coinbase Bazar MCP server with pay-per-use x402 endpoints through the AgentCore gateway, support for the Machine Payment Protocol (MPP), and the "upto" scheme in the x402 protocol for pay-per-inference and dynamic pricing scenarios. Developers can get started using coding assistant skills, the AgentCore CLI, or the AWS Management Console. AgentCore payments is available in listed regions.
