Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now allows setting a TTL for long-term memory records. While these records do not expire by default, this feature enables TTL configuration to meet data retention requirements or control storage growth. Retention periods can be set per resource or specific records. The new bedrock-agentcore:UpdateMemoryRecordExpirySpecification permission is required for TTL configuration or deletion, allowing independent control over retention settings. This functionality is available in all AWS regions supporting Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory.
