Amazon Bedrock adds support for SpaceXAI Grok 4.6, enabling cross-region inference to boost throughput and reduce costs

Amazon Bedrock now supports the SpaceXAI Grok 4.6 model, designed for coding, agentic tasks, and knowledge work. Cross-region inference routes requests across multiple AWS regions, increasing throughput and lowering inference costs. The US Geo profile keeps processing within the United States, meeting data residency needs, while the Global profile serves requests from any available AWS region, providing maximum capacity and lower per-token costs during demand spikes. The model works with existing Bedrock controls, including logging, CloudWatch metrics, and cost tracking. Grok 4.6 is available in all regions where Amazon Bedrock is offered.
