Amazon CloudWatch now supports network health indicator for TGW inter-Region peering using synthetic monitors

Amazon CloudWatch Network Monitoring now allows you to determine if network performance issues on paths crossing AWS Transit Gateway inter-Region peering are caused by the AWS network

Amazon CloudWatch synthetic monitors now assess network performance issues on paths via AWS transit gateway inter-region pairings, helping operators and developers identify AWS-network-related performance bottlenecks faster. Previously limited to paths over AWS Direct Connect, the updated network health indicator now covers paths to paired regions over transit gateway pairings, reflecting AWS network health up to the pairing connection and exposing it to CloudWatch accounts for dashboard creation and alarm setup.
