Amazon Quick desktop app is now generally available for macOS and Windows, offering full Quick functionality on computers, integrating with local files, and connecting to calendars, email, and business apps in the background. It synchronizes conversations, context, and agents between desktop and mobile apps, enabling seamless continuation of tasks across devices. The agent continues running in the background after the computer is closed, allowing extended work sessions. Users can start agents before leaving the office, provide additional input via the mobile app during commuting, and review final outputs upon arrival. The app ensures production-grade stability, maintains AWS SLAs, and provides governance and management controls for enterprise deployments. It is available in seven regions: US East (N. Virginia), Asia Pacific (Sydney), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), and Europe (Frankfurt). Existing Quick users can download it here, with the Quick mobile app available free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
