Amazon EC2 I7ie instances are now available in the AWS Israel (Tel Aviv) region. Powered by 5th-gen Intel Xeon processors at 3.2 GHz all-core turbo, they deliver up to 40% better compute performance and 20% improved price performance versus I3en instances. I7ie instances offer up to 120TB of local NVMe storage density, doubling vCPU and memory compared to previous generations. Featuring 3rd-gen AWS Nitro SSDs, they achieve up to 65% higher real-time storage performance, 50% lower storage I/O latency, and 65% reduced I/O latency variability versus I3en instances. Ideal for large datasets requiring fast local storage and low-latency high-random read/write performance, I7ie instances come in nine sizes with up to 100Gbps network bandwidth and 60Gbps bandwidth for Amazon EBS.
