New feature

Amazon ECS deployment observability for Amazon ECS Managed Daemons now available in AWS Management Console

Amazon ECS now offers a consolidated deployment view for Managed Daemons in the AWS Management Console, enabling users to monitor deployment progress and issues from a single place

Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) provides a managed daemon deployment monitoring view, allowing users to check deployment progress, failure points, and rollback reasons on a single screen. The view includes a lifecycle timeline with timestamps, total deployment time, rollback paths, progress bars for each capacity provider, and monitoring panels (deployment circuit breakers, deployment alarms, container health checks). If a deployment fails, it shows the affected capacity provider's stop reason, task logs, and a link to troubleshooting guides. It also displays target and source revisions, instance counts, drain weights, and bake times. This feature is available only in the console in all AWS commercial regions at no additional cost.
