Amazon ECS now offers a consolidated deployment view for Managed Daemons in the AWS Management Console, enabling single-pane monitoring of deployment progress, failures, and potential blockers
Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) provides a managed daemon deployment monitoring view, showing progress, failures, and blockers in one place. It includes lifecycle timelines with timestamps and total time, progress bars for each capacity provider, and monitoring panels for deployment circuit breakers, alarms, and container health checks. If a deployment halts, it shows rollback paths and, for failed daemon tasks, affected capacity providers with stop reasons, task links, logs, and troubleshooting guides. It also displays target and source revisions, instance counts, drain pages, and bake times. This feature is available only in the console, in all AWS commercial regions at no extra cost.
