AWS launches new experience to help builders get started and ship faster
AWS introduces a simplified onboarding experience that reduces setup effort and automates initial project configuration, allowing developers to implement their ideas immediately with sensible defaults and integrated guidance.
AWS offers a new experience that simplifies how developers start projects and deploy code on AWS. The streamlined signup process uses existing Google, GitHub, Apple, or Amazon credentials, allowing most new customers to receive up to $200 in free credits as part of the AWS Free Tier without a credit card. After signing up, a single prompt connects the development environment to AWS, automatically installing the AWS CLI and Agent Toolkit for AWS. The development environment links to the project and provides built-in guidance to deploy resources using best practices. As the project grows, team members are automatically granted access upon accepting email invitations. Many created AWS resources can also automatically access other AWS service resources through a new IAM role manager feature activated for the project. When ready to upgrade the payment plan, users can set monthly spending limits based on usage patterns to stay within budget; reaching the limit pauses that month's project. Additional projects can be created with one click, each with unique spending limits and team members. Advanced features such as multiple AWS regions and custom governance controls can be enabled at any time without migration or downtime.
