Amazon Managed Grafana now supports creating new workspaces with Grafana version 13.2. This release includes features from open-source Grafana versions 13.0 to 13.2, such as dashboard Git Sync, dynamic dashboards, and PromQL query support in the Amazon CloudWatch data source plugin. Git Sync lets you link workspaces to Git repositories to version, review, and restore dashboard changes. Dynamic dashboards offer flexible layout and panel adjustments based on data or variables. The Amazon CloudWatch data source plugin enables querying metrics collected by CloudWatch via OpenTelemetry (OTLP) endpoints using the Prometheus query language (PromQL), complementing existing metric search and metric insights query types. Grafana 13.2 is available in all AWS regions where Amazon Managed Grafana is generally available.

Why it matters

Amazon Managed Grafana is a managed service that simplifies the setup and operation of Grafana workspaces. Access to newer Grafana versions enables easier dashboard management and metric querying
