Amazon Quick now supports per-user resource limits
Amazon Quick allows administrators to set per-user limits on index storage and agent hours, preventing unexpected overage charges
Amazon Quick now enables administrators to impose per-user caps on index storage and agent hours, giving them direct control over subscription costs. With limit management, administrators can create limit profiles that restrict per-user consumption, helping to avoid unexpected overage charges and ensuring efficient use of subscription entitlements across the organization. When a user reaches their limit, new consumption is blocked while existing content remains preserved. This feature is available for Professional and Enterprise plans in all AWS Regions where Amazon Quick agent capabilities are supported
Why it matters
This update affects administrators deploying Amazon Quick across their entire organization or managing large user bases. Resource limits enable better cost control and optimization of subscription entitlements
