Amazon Quick has introduced Quick Essentials for enterprises. This plan enables organizations to easily access all features including AI-powered chat, research, flow, and apps. Users can view and interact with Quick Sight dashboards and reports, adopting at their own pace. Quick Sight readers upgrade to Quick Essentials at no additional per-user cost, allowing natural language queries such as "what caused the sales drop in March?" Responses can be converted into documents, presentations, or spreadsheets. The research function gathers information from data, files, and the web to generate detailed reports, while flow automates routine updates. Apps build tools without coding when needed. Existing dashboards, favorites, and recent items remain unchanged. Row and column-level security applies to all responses, ensuring data is not shared between customers or used to train shared models. Administrators can manage features by applying custom permission profiles to users or roles. Quick Essentials is being rolled out gradually in AWS regions where Quick AI features are available.
