AWS Marketplace now enables partners to list once and sell through multiple subsidiary accounts
AWS Marketplace now allows partners with multiple legal entities to publish a product listing once in their primary account and enable local subsidiaries to sell it through direct private offers, eliminating the need to recreate and maintain duplicate listings across every account.
Today, AWS announced a feature allowing partners with multiple entities to list products at the parent level for subsidiaries to sell as direct private offers, eliminating duplicate listings. The main user retains list ownership and can specify countries where each subsidiary may sell products and private offers. Each subsidiary transacts under its own tax ID, selecting supported currencies, payment settings, and bank accounts. The main user's AWS Marketplace analytics report shows an integrated view of offers, contracts, and renewals across all connected subsidiary accounts. Partners can revoke subsidiary permissions or connections at any time, preventing new offers while leaving existing customer contracts unchanged. This feature is available in all AWS regions where AWS Marketplace operates, at no additional cost.
Why it matters
This change is particularly useful for AWS partners operating multiple legal entities, helping to streamline management and optimize global sales strategies.
