Claude Opus 5 is now available in AWS GovCloud (US) regions via the bedrock-runtime endpoint. This latest Opus model provides significant advances in coding, long-running agents, and complex document analysis. Amazon Bedrock enables zero data retention (ZDR) by default, ensuring data governance compliance while offering AWS-managed features like Guardrails and Knowledge Bases.
