AWS Client VPN now includes CLI support, administration controls, and faster connection establishment, enabling centralized device management and easier automation

AWS Client VPN introduces a rebuilt v6.0.x client with CLI support, enterprise administration controls, and faster connection setup. The CLI offers full GUI feature parity, allowing integration into automation workflows and infrastructure-as-code deployments. Administration controls enable centralized VPN policy enforcement and profile management. Rebuilt with OpenVPN3, the client delivers faster connections across all OS platforms while maintaining backward compatibility with existing endpoints. The updated client is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux with no additional charges beyond standard pricing.
