New feature

Billing Transfer now supports automatic billing group creation for two-level transfers

AWS Billing Transfer now enables Auto-Billing Transfer Billing Group Creation, eliminating manual configuration for two-level billing transfers.

AWS Billing Transfer users can enable Auto-Billing Transfer billing group creation. This new AWS Billing Conductor setting eliminates manual billing group configuration for two-tiered billing transfer arrangements. Designed for downstream seller partners and their end customers, it automatically creates billing groups when end customers accept billing transfers from downstream seller partners, making proforma cost data immediately available to partners. The feature can be enabled once per inbound transfer relationship, requesting billing group creation when new indirect transfers occur through a partner's account. You can also assign AWS Billing Conductor pricing plans to automatically created billing groups. This configuration is accessible through two new API operations and the Billing Transfer details page in the AWS Management Console. For instructions on configuring Auto-Billing Transfer billing group creation and billing transfer settings, see the AWS Billing Conductor documentation.
