Region expansion

Second-generation AWS Outposts racks now supported in the AWS Mexico (Central) Region

AWS Outposts extends AWS infrastructure and services to on-premises environments. With support now in the Mexico (Central) Region, customers can better optimize for latency and data residency requirements.

The second-generation AWS Outposts rack is now supported in the AWS Mexico (central) Region. Outposts racks extend AWS infrastructure, services, APIs, and tools to virtually any on-premises data center or colocation space, providing a truly consistent hybrid experience. This regional expansion increases the number of AWS Regions customers can connect their Outposts to, optimizing latency and data residency requirements. For details on the second-generation Outposts rack, see the blog post and user guide. For the latest list of countries and regions where the second-generation Outposts rack is supported, and AWS Regions, see the Outposts rack FAQ page.
