Amazon Quick adds new tool settings and Model Context Protocol (MCP) sync support for connectors

Amazon Quick connectors let you integrate tools like Outlook, Slack, Salesforce, Jira, and custom MCP servers directly into chats, agents, apps, flows, and deep research. Today, Amazon Quick adds new tool settings and MCP sync support, giving admins and connector owners finer control over deployment and updates. Owners can selectively enable or disable individual tools, ensuring only approved tools are available to end users. New tool permission settings let owners require consent for certain tools or let end users decide. MCP sync keeps connectors up to date with external MCP servers as they add tools, update descriptions, or evolve features.
