AWS Config now supports 60 new resource types

AWS Config adds support for 60 new resource types across Amazon Bedrock, EC2, SageMaker, and AWS Organizations, enhancing coverage for resource discovery, assessment, auditing, and remediation

AWS Config will now support 60 new resource types across key services including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon EC2, Amazon SageMaker, and AWS Organizations. This expansion broadens the scope of AWS environments, enabling more effective detection, evaluation, auditing, and remediation of diverse resources. When recording is enabled for all resource types, these new resources are automatically tracked. The new resource types are also available for Config rules and Config aggregators. You can monitor the supported new resource types in all available AWS regions.
