Amazon SageMaker Studio simplifies getting started for new AI/ML builders with new sign-in options

Amazon SageMaker Studio now allows new customers to sign up with Google, GitHub, or Apple credentials and land in a fully configured environment-no AWS account setup or console navigation required.

Amazon SageMaker Studio now allows new users to sign up with Google, GitHub, or Apple credentials and access a fully configured environment directly. Previously, customers finding models on Hugging Face or AWS product pages needed to create an AWS account, enter a credit card, locate SageMaker AI in the AWS console, configure the environment, and set IAM permissions. This new feature enables quick sign-up with existing identity, receipt of AWS free tier credits without a credit card, and direct access to SageMaker Studio. Team members can be invited via email, and collaborators access the shared environment using their email verification. If a project exceeds free credit limits, users can upgrade to a paid plan to stay within budget. Verified customers receive GPU access to G5, G6, G6e, and G4dn instances by default.
