AWS Backup now supports Amazon FSx file systems in the Asia Pacific (New Zealand) Region

AWS Backup now supports Amazon FSx for Lustre, Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP, Amazon FSx for OpenZFS, and Amazon FSx for Windows File Server in the Asia Pacific (New Zealand) region. This enables centralized, automated management of data protection for Amazon FSx file systems alongside other supported AWS resources. Users can create policy-based backup plans, schedule backups, apply retention rules, store backups in encrypted vaults, and restore file systems as needed, fulfilling business continuity, disaster recovery, and compliance requirements through a single service.
