Users can define a recovery sequence once and execute it with a single action when needed. This groups servers into steps with configurable wait times, ensuring predictable and consistent application recovery. Non-disruptive drill mode allows procedure validation, approval steps can be added, and real-time progress monitoring is supported. The automation reduces recovery time and eliminates common errors from manual server launch coordination during high-stress disaster scenarios. Recovery Plans are available in all AWS Regions where AWS DRS is offered, at no additional cost beyond standard DRS usage.
