Claude Fable 5.1 now available on AWS GovCloud (US)

Claude Fable 5.1 is now generally available on Amazon Bedrock in AWS GovCloud (US), bringing Anthropic's most capable frontier model to regulated industry customers. Fable 5.1 provides frontier intelligence for ambitious tasks across coding, scientific research, and enterprise workflows. It is built for long-running, high-stakes work that spans hours and multiple applications, allowing it to handle features across an entire codebase, code review, and performance work over extended sessions. If it encounters an issue, it reports it instead of claiming success, and it avoids shortcuts like disabling failing tests. Fable 5.1 is designated by Anthropic as a Covered Model, a category with additional data retention, safety review, and access policies. Enterprise Frontier Safeguards (EFS), developed jointly by AWS and Anthropic, enable eligible customers to use Covered Models while keeping their data in a cloud environment they control.
