Region expansion

Amazon EC2 G7 instances now available in Europe (Frankfurt) and Europe (Stockholm) Regions

Amazon EC2 G7 instances, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, are now available in two European regions, offering up to 4.6x AI inference and 2.1x graphics performance over G6 instances.

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) G7 instances are now available in the Europe (Frankfurt) and Europe (Stockholm) regions. These instances feature NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, delivering up to 4.6x higher AI inference and 2.1x faster graphics performance compared to G6 instances. They also accelerate GPU-based data analytics. G7 instances can deploy AI models for language translation, video and image analysis, speech recognition, and recommendation systems, and support graphics workloads like real-time cinematic rendering and game streaming. They also support video transcoding, spatial computing, and data analytics. Each G7 instance includes up to eight NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, each with 32 GB of memory, and custom Intel Xeon 6 processors. They support up to 192 vCPUs, 700 Gbps Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) network bandwidth, up to 768 GiB of system memory, and up to 7.6 TB of local NVMe SSD storage. G7 instances are available in the US West (Oregon), US East (Ohio), and Europe (Spain, Frankfurt, Stockholm) regions, and can be purchased as On-Demand, Spot, or as part of a Savings Plan.
