New feature

Amazon Q Developer now delivers enhanced visualizations in the AWS Management Console

Amazon Q Developer now provides enhanced visualizations in the AWS Management Console, delivering complete answers and dashboards for complex questions across all AWS regions and services

Today, AWS announced expanded visualizations for Amazon Q Developer within the AWS Management Console. Amazon Q answers across hundreds of AWS APIs, providing full account-wide responses for all regions and services. Beyond previously introduced resource tables and cost charts, Amazon Q now renders a health dashboard with status indicators, time-series charts with trends and anomaly detection, troubleshooting diagnostics, and resource detail views. It now orchestrates calls across multiple services to gather health data and render dashboards with status indicators, giving customers a complete picture at a glance. Queries like "graph my EC2 instance network usage for the past 12 hours" now generate interactive time-series charts with trend lines and anomaly highlights, enabling quick issue identification and response. These responses are also significantly faster, delivering complete answers in seconds instead of requiring multi-step text replies. To use Amazon Q Developer in the AWS Management Console, sign in and click the Q icon in the top-left corner. The enhanced visualization features are available in all AWS regions where Amazon Q Developer is offered. For more information, see the Amazon Q Developer documentation.
