AWS End User Messaging adds automatic failover for SMS delivery via phone pools, rerouting traffic to the next best number when disruptions occur

AWS End User Messaging now automatically reroutes traffic to the next best number when detecting delivery delays or message failures for SMS via phone pools. This ensures critical messages such as notifications, one-time passwords, and reminders continue to be delivered even if downstream issues affect SMS delivery. Customers using phone pools will especially benefit, and those not using them can enable the feature by following the setup instructions. The functionality is available in all regions where AWS End User Messaging is offered.
